Flooring Installation

A good floor install starts with the subfloor. MJ Elite Contractors installs luxury vinyl plank, laminate, engineered hardwood, and tile across Niles, Warren, Boardman, and the Cleveland area. We check and correct the subfloor before anything goes down. A floor installed over a bad substrate buckles, squeaks, and fails inside a few years. What We Install

• Luxury vinyl plank (LVP). Waterproof flooring for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and anywhere with moisture exposure.
• Laminate. Scratch-resistant and cost-effective for living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways with heavy foot traffic.
• Tile. Ceramic and porcelain for entryways, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. Set on cement board with proper thin-set and grout joints.
• Baseboards and shoe molding. Every floor install finishes with new or reinstalled baseboard and quarter-round at the floor edge.

Why MJ Elite

The most common cause of flooring failure in Northeast Ohio homes is poor subfloor prep. Cupped boards, lipped seams, and hollow spots over concrete slabs. We fix those before a single plank goes down. Most single-room flooring jobs finish in one to two days.

Our Process

1. Subfloor inspection and prep. We check for soft spots, high seams, and levelness. We handle any repairs before material is staged in the room.
2. Installation. Underlayment, flooring, and transitions installed per manufacturer spec with correct expansion gaps at every wall.
3. Baseboard and trim. We finish the room with new or reinstalled baseboard and quarter-round for a clean, complete edge.
